We want to sincerely thank FREE TO GROW for making this possible. The girls will carry the benefits of this workshop with them for the rest of their lives. 2017 was the inaugural year of this programme, launched on Wednesday the 28th of June 2017 at Good Hope Seminary in Gardens, Cape Town. There were 30 mentor-mentee pairings.

Our activities in 2017 included:
• A launch event where the pairing of the mentors and mentees took place and the girls were addressed by an inspirational speaker.
• Facilitating and sponsoring psychometric interest testing by a registered educational psychologist for all the mentees.
• A talk by former Carte Blanche presenter, Ruda Landman. She addressed all the grade 11 and 12 girls.
• Facilitating the provision of menstrual cups (through Sarah Jacobs from M Power Cups) to girls at the school.
